Goodbye Aches!

A common misconception today is that shorter the distance we travel, the less equipped we have to be. Obviously,  you would carry more clothes for a months trip over a day or two. However that doesn’t call for aching backs or joints after a short flight. Kids like travelling in big jumbo planes where the seats are big for them and they’re in the middle of the sky but on the other hands the adults just like their sleep and space. Thousands of people travel on flights everyday for various purposes however only a very small amount remember to carry the essentials for a flight.images
Everyone looks forward to having a good physique and posture but its quite bewildering that after a flight they always start complaining about their shoulder or their back or how the flight moved so much. Thats the only reason why theres a shop in every airport for selling you things that you may not want but you certainly need during your travel time. Those people do their best to ensure that you have a safe travel but the flight always ends in a different way!
From the most basic things like sitting with a correct posture and placing your arms the right way can save you a lot of trouble after a tedious flight. There are some possible things that can be done to evade the burden:
  • Use a travel pillow!
  • Cotton in the ears, always a solution
  • Chewing gum always kills the air pressure
  • Wearing tracks or cozy pants
  • Don’t slouch — you’ll regret it!
The most basic things can help you avoid the biggest pains. These really come in handy for those who can’t stop whining after an hour’s flight. You wouldn’t want to be the one sitting on a wheelchair and getting pushed by someone else.

Pain & Gain

There was always a time where we told our parents that we weren’t scared of anything in this world. Be it leopards or thieves, we were ready to face what the world had in store for us, regardless of the pain inflicted. The faster we grow up, the more pain we experience and similarly more the pain we can endure. Pain could be of any sort including mental or physical but even the smallest amount of pain can do the damage!
The pain comes from within only when we grow up and experience a greater part of the world. Any ache or pain can be dealt with in two ways. One way would be expressing your pain and hurting the people around you and the other way would be keeping it to yourself and finding a way out to deal with it.
Pain-Management
Any sort of pain or distress can be caused by the people around you or even by yourself. You never know when you have borne the ache on yourself. Right from suffering a minute back ache in the morning to a very emotional quarrel with someone can really inflict pain. It’s the degree of pain that matters and not the kind of pain borne. The smallest things could cause the largest amounts of pain and we still may not know it.
The trick is to not get rid of the pain but to control it. It may take a very long time to get rid of it or it may vanish within the span of seconds however the feeling of pain truly tests your capability. There may be nothing you can do to get rid of it but surely there are ways to control it and keep it inside. Some very basic ways such as:
  • Counting to 10 and keeping your cool
  • Meditation. Proved to be the most effective!
  • Sharing the pain with someone close
  • Sleeping if off – works most of the times
  • Distractions – the best way to get your mind working again
People consider speaking to a therapist or an advisor at times of ache or pain because they don’t know the path they are on. To overcome the pain, your potential is truly tested. You may not like it but to prove yourself you definitely have to go out of the way and achieve the impossible. Pain isn’t something which can be measured or tangible, its one of the smallest obstacles in life which just requires a little jump to be tackled with.
